Peter Nitz launched his brand in 2009 making one of kind, completely handmade luxury leather goods.
As a kid I was always very interested in nice leathers, especially exotic skins. Im my early 30s I met a french leather craftsman and she taught me some of the basics of leather working. Immediately I knew it was what I wanted to do as a career.
Focusing mainly on handbags and small leather goods, and specifically made from exotic skins, I produce each piece myself, custom made for each customer. For me leather is something that is used daily and something that brings joy and beauty to the senses every time you touch it and use it. There is no substitute for quality natural materials. Leather is something that looks beautiful when brand new and also when it’s old and used. Sometimes it looks even more beautiful with lots of age and use.
