Leather Naturally Passes 100 Member Mark

Release date: 6/4/2019

Following the announcement that it has successfully raised over $1.5m to fund a global campaign, Leather Naturally now confirms that it has over 100 members.

“This demonstrates the growing willingness of our industry to work together to promote the benefits of leather,” said Chair, Egbert Dikkers, “In a world that is ever-more focused on the use of recycled and sustainable materials it is important that we are sending the right messages to support the use of leather.

A growing membership enables us to do this.” New members include national leather organisations from various countries, leather traders, chemical companies, machine builders and leading leather manufacturers like Gruppo Mastrotto, Meihua, Tong Hong, Simona, CPL Thailand and many others.

Leather Naturally has doubled its membership since the start of 2019 and plans further growth through 2020, enabling individual companies to benefit from the voice of a collective organisation.

Leather Naturally promotes the use of globally-manufactured sustainable leather and seeks to inspire and inform designers, creators, and consumers about its beauty, quality and versatility. Its website is a key resource for information about modern leather manufacturing and the part it plays in a more sustainable society.
