Equitan supplies a range of stamping devices for the tracking of leathers, Wi-Fi thickness gauges, scissor list platforms, and conveyors.

Italprogetti

Italprogetti designs and manufactures the following lines of equipment:

  • POLYPROPYLENE DRUMS, water / chemical dosing systems, process automation, overhead chain conveyors / drying plants, dry milling drums, testing drums.
  • EFFLUENT TREATMENT PLANTS, CHROME RECOVERY PLANTS, air treatment plants

40 years of activity, 160 employees, 3 production units, a team that can promptly support worldwide customers: ITALPROGETTI is acknowledged as one of the leading companies among the italian manufacturers of machinery and equipment for the tanning industry.

ITALPROGETTI was a true pioneer in introducing polypropylene in the manufacture of tannery drums, long ago. These drums have turned into true must-haves for tanneries bent on acknowledging environmental sustainability (as well as production quality, obviously) as their top priority. Thanks to its consolidated experience, ITALPROGETTI is regularly working on projects for the modernization of existing tanneries or for the design of new ones, all over the world.

The corporate catalogue comprises also:

  • Automatic systems for chemical dosing and water mixing;
  • Process automation systems
  • Laboratory drums (in stainless steel and polypropylene);
  • Dry milling drums, for labs or production scale;

The legacy of this pursuit is the quality inherent in our comprehensive range and first class support service.

With a history dating back to the mid 19th Century, the Hardy name has always been associated with high quality products. The company has a long track record of excellence in providing quality shaving and fleshing knives to the Global leather sector.
Our blades, made using carefully selected high grade steel, are designed to get the very highest quality finish in the production of leather, as efficiently as possible. Using Hardy blades our customers know to expect an excellent yield to cost ratio and availability of product second to none.

Today, our factory is moments from the historic docks of Liverpool, UK. A city defined by its warmth, resilience and a proud manufacturing history, this location also allows us to effectively manage our exports, which account for a large proportion of sales.

In 2015, Hardy was acquired by renowned Sheffield knife makers, Arkote Ltd. With a vision to ensure that we continue to lead the way, this ownership is consolidating a reputation garnered over more than a century, and driving our evolution, with a focus on innovative technologies and sustainable manufacturing.

Gibson Bass Stamper

The Gibson Bass Stamper has been providing fast and reliable individual traceability in 4 continents for over 20 years.

​​Joe Gibson and Richard Bass have been making hide, skin and split identification devices for 20 years. Joe is a Chemical Engineer and a 4th generation tanner who has worked in the leather industry most of his life, as a technician, manager and consultant. Richard is an engineer and inventor with many patents to his name. His inventions have been used in the leather, food and health industries for many years.

Their collaboration began in an Austrialian government hide improvement program in the 1990s which led to the invention of the Gibson Bass Stamper in 2001. Joe manages the marketing and does the programming, while Richard's company, Ingenuity Engineering, builds the machines in its factory in Brisbane. They have installed the stampers in four continents - North America, Africa, Europe and Australia.

The stamper stamps seven segment numbers, letters and codes and each stamper is programmed to stamp according to the individual needs of the customer.


Cartigliano

Starting from its drying know-how and expertise, in the last two decades Cartigliano developed new leather drying systems through high frequency technologies (for both crust and finished products) as well as drying systems for the treatment of industrial and civil sludges.

Cartigliano Technologies are studied to grant an added value on clients’ production, with high quality leathers, maximum yield, constancy and consistency, extremely short production cycles.
