AAQTIC Asociación Argentina de Químicos y Técnicos de la Industria del Cuero

AAQTIC – Argentine Association of Leather Chemists and Technicians was founded in 1959 .

Non-profit organization, based in Buenos Aires that promotes knowledge, research, and professional development of its associates.

Its objectives are focused on achieving the strengthening of the leather industry. To meet them:
Promotes in society in general and among its associates in particular, scientific research and the development of technology for making leather.

Promotes education and training on sector issues by organizing congresses, conferences, round tables, seminars, courses, study groups and through social networks.

It promotes scientific and technological literature, maintaining the magazine Tecnología del Cuero ( Leather Technology ) where scientific works are published, both originals and translations, bibliographic reviews, as well as all kinds of publications of interest to its associates and Argentine readers and other Spanish-speaking ones.

Establishes relationships with official or private institutions of interest to the leather industry, as well as establishing contacts with the organizations that group them and with national or foreign universities and technological institutes.
